Introduction
Inference and interpretation require the use of a critical mind. Critical analysis is important given that write has to interpret data from a range of sources and make valid inferences regardless of contradictory evidence or data. Specifically, the researcher is expected to use logic while analyzing opposing evidence or data in order to enhance the consistency and clarity of his or her arguments. Additionally, one has to draw evidence from a wide variety of credible sources to gain greater depth of knowledge or insight, also called profundity. Similarly, the researcher should also use reasonableness in making judgment in order to enhance the justifiability of the research findings. In the United States’ health care system, the issue of controversy surrounding the efficacy of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also called Obamacare, has attracted supporters and critics with equal measure. In this light, this research paper takes a critical analysis of the efficacy of the ACA in attaining its planned objectives and goals in an attempt to make a valid inference.

The ACA was enacted to make significant reforms in the U.S.’s health care system in terms increasing affordability, accessibility, quality. With these goals and objectives of ACA in mind, different researchers have come up with contradictory findings regarding its efficacy.
