According to Godin, we live in a century of if idea diffusion (Godin, 2003). It does not matter what the patent or factory is like. The essential aspect is getting the idea to spread in any activity, idea, or innovation an individual is involved in. One can have the best ideas or innovations, but they will not make the world's intended change as long as they are not known. Godin gives examples of the invention of sliced bread where for 15 years, nobody took the idea seriously until Wonder came along and figured out how to spread the idea. People who can spread ideas, regardless of the ideas, win (Godin, 2003).
