Miranda v. Arizona is one of the cases that changed police practices to stay compliant with the law. Today, the Miranda law is one of the most popular laws as is depicted in movies in popular culture. Basically, the Miranda law demands that police officers make criminal suspects aware of their rights to an attorney and to self-incrimination as spelled out in the constitution.
