The most significant factor in my previous practice was the impact of patients on my life. As a nurse, our primary objective is to ensure that our patients are comfortable when they are in the facility. In this case, I got to build a strong relationship with most of the patients I was attending the institution. In this case, I learned several aspects, such as the importance of building a good relationship with my patients, practicing kindness and compassion. Also, handling patients made me more empathetic and willing to offer assistance where necessary. Eventually, I managed to incorporate my morals into my work, which made me a better nurse. However, the majority of my patients did not realize the impact they have on my life. Having a patient get better made me feel proud as a nurse.
