There are four roles APRN holds. These roles include nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist certified, nurse-midwife, and certified registered nurse anesthetist. These are primary care providers who are assigned the duty of taking care of patients in the hospital and the public as well. These nurses also diagnose and treat certain illnesses, guide and advise the public in various health issues, and engage in continuous education. APRN nurses are very important. Over the past few years, various legislations have been enacted to ensure nurses can provide high-quality health care to all the patients. The Affordable Care Act is one of these laws.
