The statistics regarding the use of CAM were established by the report the National Centre released for Complementary Medicine and the National Centre for Health Statistics, which shows the number of people who use CAM and those who do not. The report discovered that CAM therapy represents one form of prayer used by more than fifty percent of the participants in the survey (Clarke et al., 2018). The use of complementary and alternative medicine has increased over the past years. Several studies of the use of CAM indicate that the number of people using complementary and alternative medicine has increased and might increase more when prayer is included in the definition of CAM (Nejatian et al., 2018).
