The circumcision of boys, mainly during the adolescent phase, is one of the rites of passages among some African communities that mark the passage into early adulthood. Circumcised boys defend communities and are the ones who later get married and become community elders. The Bar and Bat Mitzvah are religious ceremonies among young Jews, and the ceremonies are held at 13 years for both boys and girls commandment service. Jewish religious ceremonies and rituals celebrate and commemorate religious adulthood as part of commandment service. The Bar Mitzvah for boys and Bat Mitzvah for girls are celebrated separately.

Pluralism refers to people from different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and lifestyles coexisting peacefully and equally in a diverse society while maintaining their unique identities. In pluralism, people maintain their rites of passages, such as Jewish communities in the US celebrating the Bar and Bat Mitzvah/ Assimilation is the process by which distinct heritage and cultural groups begin to share a common culture, habits, and habits, and mode of life (Wasino et al., 2019). There can be forced or unforced assimilation, where unforced assimilation is involuntary as people are forced to adopt certain cultures, religious beliefs, languages, traditions, values, ideology perceptions, and norms. Unforced assimilation mainly occurs in repressive societies, and the people are expected to follow and adopt the preferred rites of passage regardless of their cultural origins and background.
