Roles of Different Stakeholders in a Healthcare strategic-planning Process
As indicated previously, a strategic planning process entails the input of various stakeholders who play varying roles to make it viable and successful. The stakeholders include boards of directors, whose function in the overall process is indispensable. To begin with, boards are deeply involved in establishing strategic plans, setting goals, and monitoring the entire process (Nash et al., 2009). C-suite employees form another group of stakeholders involved in strategic planning.
