Bladder cancer
One of the problems with understanding the risk for bladder cancer is that there is no reliable screening test. If there is a high risk of bladder cancer, then imaging tests and cystoscopy may be performed to allow physicians assess any abnormality of the urinary tract. Nonetheless taking into account the risk factors shows the risk of bladder cancer. The results showed that there was a below average risk of bladder cancer, by focusing age and the risk factors. Cigarette smoking and exposure to workplace chemicals were identified as the main risk factors, but they were absent.
Heart disease
The risk is very much below average since there were minimal or no risk factors present. The main risk factors are related to lifestyle choices including weight levels, cholesterol levels, as well the saturate and unsaturated fats. At the same time, other diseases increase the risk of heart disease including diabetes, and high blood pressure. The results further highlighted that staying healthy is essential and this included eating 2 or more serving is fish per week, 3 servings of nuts per week and 5 or mores servings of fruits and vegetables on most days. Modifiable lifestyle risk factors that reduce cardiovascular diseases are also associated with reduced risk of hypertension.
Kidney cancer
There is no one good screening test to detect kidney cancer, and there are no early symptoms. At the moment there were no risk factors that were found, and the results were below average. Typically maintaining a healthy lifestyle including dieting and lifestyle choices were identified as factors that influence the prevalence of kidney cancers. It is noteworthy that having high blood pressure and being overweight are risk factors in most types of cancers as is smoking. Being overweight or obese may change the risk of kidney cancer because of changes in hormones, which is then associated with kidney cancer. Overall, there was no previous history of kidney disease and living a healthy lifestyle was associated with low risk of kidney cancer.
Lung cancer
By focusing on lifestyle choices including no smoking, eating the recommended 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables, there was a low risk of lung cancer. The risk of lung cancer can often go detected since prognosis typically occurs during the later stages when the symptoms are identified, at the point where intervention may require surgery and chemotherapy. Smoking is mostly associated with many lung diseases for smokers including lung cancer. Smokers may undergo CT (computerized tomography) to detect any lung abnormalities. Passive smokers are also at higher risk of lung cancer, and this is a concern.
