A reform of the public health law if necessary because the current laws are outdated and consist of various layers of regulations which make it difficult for them to suit citizens and meet their changing medical needs. The laws should be made a catalyst to making changes in the public health care system rather than an impediment that leads carrying out activities based on the norm. The world is changing and so should the laws be reformed to fit in the current world. The changes would make it easy for public health agencies to recognize their resource needs and, in turn, make deals with the concerned parties (Gostin & Wiley, 2016).
