A 52 year old Caucasian female patient arrived at the outpatient facility with her caregiver, having been referred by her primary care provider to get psychiatric care. The patient reports that she has been experiencing psychiatric symptoms for several years. She admits that she has problems with chronic suicidal ideation and this is linked to discouragement, hopelessness, and pain.
