Medical malpractice happens after a hospital, doctor, or health care expert over a negligent action or omission brings damage to a patient. This may be the consequence of errors in treatment, diagnosis, health management, or aftercare. For consideration as medical malpractice under the regulation, that specific claim must contain the following features: the standard of care violation, a wound was produced by the carelessness, and the damage caused substantial damages (Thomas et al., 2018). This malpractice may take numerous forms. Some instances of medical malpractices can result in a lawsuit; they include misdiagnosis or failure to diagnose, ignoring or misreading laboratory results, an unnecessary surgery, improper dosage or medication, and bad aftercare or follow-up.
