Discussion with Family and Friends

Essay Instructions:

Ask a family member or friend the following questions:

"What would be a “bad” way to deliver such news?"
"What two things (from a healthcare provider) would help you process such news?"
One of the basic premises of D&D is that individuals in the USA typically do not realistically nor actively talk about death & dying until it is too late. So, given your conversation, please create a short journal-style entry (about 3/4 of a page) highlighting the following things:
Was the conversation easy or challenging to arrange and conduct?
Did you feel comfortable asking to talk about these areas and did the other individual appear comfortable? Why?
What are two things that you learned about the other individual?
What is one thing you learned about your self from doing this assignment?
