One strategy I will incorporate into my practice, given the powerful impact of the evidence-based practice (EBP) process in advancing improvements in health care, is knowledge creation and distillation. I will make it a practice to research and evaluate the latest clinical studies that provide the highest quality as well as most cost-efficient health care solutions. I will begin looking for EBP research in scholarly peer-reviewed journals that advance the scientific foundation of my nursing practices by improving hospice and palliative care and effectively guiding the treatment and management of illnesses (Chrisman et al., 2014). When evaluating relevant EBP nursing peer-reviewed articles, I will consider their findings' reliability, validity, and relevance to determine which ones will be incorporated into current nursing practices.
