The professionals who manage early childhood education can use this information to determine the child's progress in various areas that contribute to a child's overall cognitive and social-emotional development.
One way to improve educational policies and programs is by investing in gathering and disseminating comprehensive, accurate, and useful data so people can make informed choices.
