Addressing disabilities and difficulties in a student’s learning capabilities is essential for his development. This is true for all students, whether they are just learning fundamental skills or those already in their advanced studies. Accordingly, one of the articles I have read about learning disabilities is Vicker’s (2010) article entitled Accommodating College Students with Learning Disabilities: ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia. In this article, the author discussed that despite our nation’s milestones in removing racial and class inequality, it seems that this discrepancy exists even in the field of learning interventions.
