Levels of motivation and engagement vary from one individual to another. Comparing the levels of motivation of young learners with that of adult learners is essential. Educators use teaching strategies that help adult learners stay motivated and engaged in their studies. All students, whether adults or young, faces various challenges during their school life. As a result, there is a need to develop strategies to help learners stay motivated during their studies.
First, instructors’ encouragement is one of the strategies that can be applied to motivate adult learners.
