Pantene is a swiss created American company that manufactures beauty products. Europe Hoffmann-La Roche of Switzerland first created the company. However, the company was later purchased by Procter and Gamble in 1985. The main objective of the Company was to manufacture beauty products for hair care. One of the products of the Pantene Company is the Pantene pro-vitamin shampoo which is used for hair care. The company has since grown because of the proper research on the target market.
Market Analysis
Marketing analysis entails assessment a large number of activities in the market to find the target population for the product. Research analysis may be done in research and development, support, advertisements, and product promotion. This is done by carrying a preliminary visit in a wide area for the product, for instance, Pantene shampoo. Demographic segmentation may be used in doing the analysis, this includes assessing, age, gender, race, education, income, class, values, and preferences for Pantene shampoo (Gillespie, 2015).
