The character is a mark of great leaders, many great commanders' exhibits great characters. The mark of a servant leader is consistency in character. The ability to maintain moral imperative, practice what you believe in and show consistency between values, words, and ethical reasoning. One such character is universalism which means understanding, appreciation, and tolerance for the welfare of the people. This means the leader is respectful, fair, cooperates and is compassionate.
This attribute, therefore, underscore the role the leaders play in the welfare of the employees or those under the leader.
