Social Media Marketing in a Company

Coursework Instructions:

Discuission 1:
It seems as if every brand in the world is on social media. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and even Pinterest are being flooded with content and advertising dollars, making social media sites some of the most competitive marketing channels out there. With so many players on the field, how can a brand be successful on social media?
https://www(dot)socialmediatoday(dot)com/social-networks/gopro-and-3-other-brands-understand-importance-social-media-integration
Captain Morgan, T-Mobile, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and GoPro are four brands that are successful on social media. However, we have reached Peak Brand, and in this era of inundation, a single tweet announcing a new product is not enough. You have got to stand out. But how? How are you going to grab the attention of your audience online? What story are you going to tell that encapsulates your brand? What goes into a good brand story?
Think of a brand that you believe is successful on social media. Imagine your are the marketing manager for that brand. What will your audience get from engaging with your brand on social media? And I don’t mean what products or services will they get, but what kind of association will they benefit from, whether it’s a feeling, a reputation, or a more tangible benefit? How do you want them to feel after interacting with your brand on social media?
Remember to show, don't tell. The best brands don't try and sell you anything when you engage with them on social media. Good brands tell stories online that don't "sell" products or services to the audience; they show the products and services in action, in use, from the perspective of the individual, in an emotionally compelling story.
Give an example of a company other than Captain Morgan, T-Mobile, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and GoPro that does a good job of leveraging social media to tell a story that doesn't outright sell product or services, but shows the products and services in action in an emotionally compelling way.
Make sure to answer both parts.
Discussion 2:
First, read the following article:
https://sproutsocial(dot)com/insights/social-media-for-musicians/
In today’s increasingly digital world, the internet is immensely important to the music industry. Regardless of whether you’re a solo performer or part of a group, one of the most important parts of the internet for musicians is social media. While there isn’t necessarily a “perfect” way to present your music online, there are a few basic do’s, don’ts, and pointers you should follow if you’re a DJ, singer, rapper, or any other type of musician on social media.
What I want you to do: Based on the article and your own research tell me, in your own words, if you were a musician, how would you use social media effectively to promote yourself and your music? Which social media platforms would you utilize and why? Finally, what do you think is the biggest challenge of social media for musicians?
Make sure to answer all questions and provide adequate detail.

Social Media Marketing in a Company
Social media is one of the most effective tools for marketing in today's modern world. It presents a higher capability for a company to target a particular market. As the marketing manager of the Coca-Cola Company, I would make sure we sell our products and services and make the customers associate with our brands and feel recognized (Felix, et al., 123). I would instill campaigns like replacing the company logo on the Coke bottles with clients' names. I would also make use of artists in every region to create an inspiring content that associates with their community to cultivate kindness, optimism, and uplift social connection.
Other than the named companies, Slack, a cloud-based digital workspace firm has made a success by leveraging social media. It uses Twitter to improve social proof and has consistently won the hearts and minds of many by often display of user responses.
