There are various jobs in the networking industry that has caught my attention. They include network administrator, network Engineer, Service Desk analyst and a network manager (Peter & Bill, 2017). The network administrator works to administer the accounts of the users and the access to remote and file server. The Engineer in the networking industry works to evaluate vendor products, upgrade the system and in the security flaw testing. The service desk analyst aids the users when they encounter problems with their accounts, business applications, and computers. The manager as the name suggests, is the department boss. They are responsible for acquiring resources, making decisions, budgeting and forecasting (Ed, 2016).
The most common ethical issue that faces the networking jobs revolves around privacy (Deb, 2005). It is not well defined if the personnel in this field should go on to view the private e-mails of the clients for various reasons such as security and to avoid the violation of the company’s rules, among others. It is also not well defined if the websites visited by users should be monitored. Another issue comes with the ability to view the graphic files and documents stored in the computers of the user.
The networking profession allows them to have access to confidential data concerning companies and individuals. This is the power that these professionals are entitled to and therefore can be abused (Lou, 2012). The issue of hacking to access...
