Reading Chapter 4 has helped me to have a self-assessment that would positively impact my human services profession. Even though I highlighted various issues from the self-assessment, one of the most relevant things I found was my perspective on charging the clients (Corey et al., 2018). Previously, I did not notice that I had not made room to charge the clients different charges based on their financial needs. The main reason is that all individuals should be charged the same as long as they receive the same service.
Self-assessment has changed my perspective regarding the prices I should charge my clients. I have understood that it is important to consider the client's financial needs before setting the charges.
