In most instances, when the children are taken to school, activities should be implemented to ensure the student's outstanding development. This is why it is important to implement activities that will enhance the student’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills. Since the skills of the preschool student are likely to vary according to the student's age, this paper will check for the activities for students aged between 3 and 5 years.
Since the social skills are important to the preschool students, various activities can boost them. One activity is the ball toss game, which could help the children learn about cooperation. The next activity is the balloon pop game, which will aim to train the student to keep the balloon for long without popping. This game will help teach about self-control, an important trait in attaining socialization skills. Moreover, the telephone game will teach the students about communication. Some activities boost the children's emotional skills. One activity that can be employed is messy play, where the students play with paints, mud, and sand. This play helps these students to express their feelings freely. The next activity is letting students have child-led play since it allows them to express their feelings.
Since physical skills are important in preschool students, there are some activities to boost them. Running would help the student to have strong bones and endurance, while gymnastics could help them to be stronger and more flexible. The students should also engage in swimming and bicycle riding to be stronger physically. There are other activities that the student can engage in to boost their intellectual skills. For example, the children could have memory games and jigsaw puzzles.
