There are parallelisms in all of the religious text if one dwells deeply and faithfully. The Quran holds parallel beliefs with Gnostic cosmology, such as the clear distinction of reality in this physical world and the afterlife. Islam reiterates that God is something beyond normal human comprehension. This can be parallel to the concept of the Gnostic Monad. In Gnostic belief, it is through the realization that this world is the illusion in which an individual is able to transcend towards heaven, but in Islam, it is through virtue and the realization of goodness in life which allows one to enter heaven. Islam reserves all their faith and worship toward the Oneness of God.
