Week 4 Disscusion: Confucian Virtue

Confucian virtues are ethic systems which emphasis on how people and society should guide their lives. These virtues were initiated during the period of loss and disruption of Chinese traditional culture by Confucius. The idea of creating an ethic system was to bring back people who had abandoned their traditions through political cruelty into their traditional ways of living. Confucius virtues have been used to guide peoples’ thought and systems of living by many countries in the world. Use of Confucian virtues in America should be embraced because they hold society together (Yueng, 1996 pg. 54-56). Apart from sincere and life giving etiquette like saying thank you and being polite to one another, practicing Confucian virtues is important in enhancing a better relationship in the society.
Instead of focusing on current moment human being tend to think of other duties and plans which is in most cases are opposite of what happens later. Human beings expectation should depend on diligence (Zhang, 2016). Imagination and strong belief that what human think is right an illusion that should not be depended on.
