Therefore, I support the Texas law, “Making a Firearm Accessible to a Child” that holds the parents criminally liable when their kids access the guns that the Texas law allows them to own (Berry and Gallagher, 2017).  According to the law, an individual is a criminal if his or her kid gets a gun, which is readily dischargeable. In addition, the parent is a criminal if he or she fails to safeguard the weapon or leaves it where he or she knew that the kid would get it. According to Faulkenberry and Schaechter (2015), parents who are negligent should pay the individuals that suffer the damages that their kids caused deliberately.
