Public Relations. Communications & Media Coursework (Coursework Sample)
According to Cho Jungsik and Dajeong Kim, public relations (PR) is purely a loop process rather than a linear one because it helps companies spread information and maximize their exposure to an extent. PR is all about creating new ideas for the company, strengthening the marketing strategies and developing the clients’ interest in a particular product, brand or service. It is often associated with advertising, marketing, and journalism, but the fact is that personal relations (PR) are different from all these things (Jungsik & Kim, 2017, p. 76). Journalism is mostly related to the management of issues, and the goal of a journalist is to create a positive public image by gathering and reporting correct data.
