It depends with one`s circumstances, relationship with others or moods which are inevitable in human beings. Ethics is a concept that deals with morality, which is doing right or wrong. Ethical behavior is common in all discipline and is used as a guide in ones profession on the other hand legal is considered to be a set of principles, standard that are enforceable in a court of law. This paper discusses how a registered nurse should approach a case where fellow nurse has a bad attitude towards the patient and the role played in addressing the value system of other health workers which may have a negative impact in delivering of patient care. The main duties for the registered nurse are; taking care of the admitted patients through routine checks and administering medication ,updating the patients record and giving the patient moral support and basic education. The nurses play an important role in the recovery of patient health since it has been proofed when a patient is motivated and handled with dignity his chances of full regaining his health is raised by 50%. They should manage their emotions throughout in order to relate well with health consumers. In a case where fellow nurse has a bad attitude towards the patient, the registered nurse should not uphold the comments of his colleagues instead he or she should rebuke and tell the nurse to follow professional codes of ethics and to control their feelings and moods (Fowler, 2008).
