This paper will focus on an issue revolving around a logistician leader's role and responsibilities in the military. In the military, a logistician has a challenging task because he or she is tasked with supporting and sustaining the military effort and engaging, fighting, and training in the military. Thus, a logistician leader carries military responsibilities that demand impeccable leadership skills, quick and sound decision-making competency, and critical thinking. The logistician's leadership competencies applied at all stages and circumstances surrounding aspects such as who, what, when, where, and why.
Being guided by the 5Ws, the roles of military logisticians can be examined. First, a military logistician is a competent person expected to work with others who include non-commissioned members and numerous CAF officers' ranks. A military logistician should demonstrate competencies in coordinating groups, expressing ideas, solving problems, and planning.
Second, what does a military logistician deal with in terms of roles? An army logistician's roles are challenging because it entails coordinating different activities, including organizing and delivering food, clothing, petroleum and its product, construction equipment, ammunitions, personal items, medical supplies, and other military machinery.
