When Courtney took on a full-time vineyard project to establish the Kingstone Family Vineyards in 1998, the grapes' quality was high, yet the commercial returns were low. However, selling these grapes to wineries helped them realize massive revenues. Producing a small amount of their wine to strengthen its brand also did not go well, considering the higher marketing costs that made the winery experience loses (Rapp & Malloy, 2016). Since their success depends on increasing their wine production, Kingstone Family Vineyards should concentrate their efforts on the long term in expanding their production to ensure increased profits. Brian Kosuge, a Californian winemaker, suggesred that this would work well as their infrastructure could allow the expansion of more cases with minimal investments and alterations.
