K’uang, her colleague in the drama club (pg. 18) introduces her to a plot for assassination of Mr. Yee, who works with the government as a special agent. Chia Chih poses as a wife of Mr. Mai (pg. 5) and uses her beauty and elegant physique to lure Yee. The plot by Chia Chih and the other students opposed to the government eventually fails as Mr. Yee and his wife move to Shangai (pg. 22). Later, a former junior to Mr. Yee confronts the students, threatening to expose them. The students quickly exterminate him and go underground.
