* Method
A comparison study was carried out in which randomized control trials which compared the use of asprin plus clopidogrel with asprin plus placebo were the only studies taken into consideration in the study. The studies on clopidogrel plus aspirin therapy in people with coronary drug eliciting stent (DES) or non-DES were excluded from the study because it was considered outside the aim of their study.
However, this being a quantitative study I could have expected a first-hand collection of data for the study.

* Method
The data for this study was a secondary one based on the previous HTF survey that was conducted in which the healthcare professionals were asked about their experience with the clinical alarms. The study collected data addressing the attitudes and practices on the clinical alarms were collected using an online Monkey Survey tool from August 8, 2011, to September 10, 2011.

There is no specific mention on the protection of the participants. The nature of this research does not require the use of human rights. The study focused on the comparison of research studies that met the specific criteria as indicated in the above section of the method. Therefore, no need for the protection of human rights.

Ї Protection of participants’ rights
There is no specific mention of the protection of the human rights. However, based on the method applied the Survey Monkey is a system that observes data integrity and the information collected does not include the identity of the participants of the study. However, this does not imply that the study could have been undertaken by other people who do not have clinical knowledge. This can be implied as the researchers sent the studies to specific institutions.

Ї Research design
The research focused on a thorough review of research studies that had been published prior to the year 2017. I do not affirm this design could have been the most appropriate. Instead I could have opted for experimentation to collect for primary data rather than relying on secondary data. However, the research articles in this study could be appropriate for the purposes of literature search and also comparison with the final findings of the study.

The research relied on the use of secondary data based on a previous survey on the clinical alarms, the attitudes and practices of healthcare professionals on the clinical alarms. The data collected was analyzed using the content analysis procedure. ) Krippendorff’s method was used to identify the repetitive themes of nurses’ experience with clinical alarms.

The research consisted of primarily participants with coronary disease, ischemic cerebrovascular disease, peripheral arterial disease, or were at high risk of atherothrombotic disease (e.g. due to having hypertension, metabolic syndrome or high-risk lifestyle factors). People who had coronary stent were excluded from the study.
