Annotated Bibliography Instructions:

You'll need to Revise:
Add Section code
-Words Topic and Thesis Statement needs to be in bold print and every word in your thesis statement doesn't need to be capitalized. This is a statement/sentence; not a title.
-As for the thesis statement, who shows resilience? You want your thesis statement to be clear so that both your reviewer AND, ESPECIALLY you are clear with what will be explored.
-Properly line up annotation. Reference AB visual.
-Remember to remove your highlights, although I know this is so that I can see the improvements to your annotations.
-You seemed to have forgotten my suggestion to reduce your story choices. BUT if you really feel strongly bot your approach, then go with it. But be sure that your analysis is strong and clear. And remember how they relate to each other. This is where your reader's interest will strongly lie.
In order to guarantee that all work will be completed by Monday, 2 May, over the Spring Recess, you are to think about (1) which story or stories you would like to base your final research essay on. Choices can be any from the Charters' anthology except those from Weeks One - Six. You are then to (2) think about your topic and select a (3) minimum of 5-6 external scholarly sources that will help direct your exploration. THESE SOURCES WILL MAKE UP YOUR ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY (AB). As you review your scholarly sources, begin (5) annotating your selections; highlighting parts that will determine whether or not your selections will prove suitable. Once done, your topic idea - which, together, we will mold into what will become your (5) thesis statement, along with the notes from your sources, will become your (6) Annotated Bibliography (1-2 pp., min.). Here's some information on how to properly create an effective Annotated Bibliography (or AB).
I am going to attach what i started so you can edit and complete it

Jones, Sharon Lynette. “Black Excesses and Deprivations in Literature and Photography of the 1930s.” African American Literature in Transition, 1930–1940: Volume 10 (2022): 33.
This book chapter focuses on the economic situation of African Americans in the early 20th century. it captures the primary theme in Toni Cade Bambara’s short story “The Lesson.” During the early 20th century, most African Americans were suffering in poverty, an aspect that lagely influenced their identity and representation in literature. Therefore, Jone’s chapter places Bambara’s story into context, thereby revealing the experiences of African American through their poor economic situation.
