This is an annotated bibliography assignment for my writing class.
My annotated bibliography is be based on THREE sources.
Write the three sources individually.

The Global Food Initiative of the UC is a broad and practical movement that will ensure food and other basic needs of the students are met. However, this initiative will only be sustained if the underlying issues leading to food insecurity are addressed first.

Basic needs insecurity among college students poses a problem as a research conducted by University of California in its 10 campuses confirmed. This lack of basic needs and food affected the students’ academic performance and both body and mental health. As a plan to mitigate the problem, the campus came up with GFI Food Access Security and Basic needs committee in order to oversee reduction and elimination of the basic needs insecurity of students. The master plan of the GFI is laid on a mission of ensuring all students have resources and information for meeting their basic needs, there is enough infrastructure and staffing to meet the mission, take advantage of funding to meet the goal, the basic need model institutionalization and a continuous research and evaluation of the enacted goals that will ensure students have all the basic needs.
The UC initiatives that has identified the problems facing students and coming up with tools, means and resources that will mitigate the problem of food and other basic needs insecurity is a positive initiative that will make sure students from all backgrounds have and know how to meet their basic needs and this will improve their learning environment.
