The spread of COVID19 and the subsequent global pandemic has necessitated the need to consider better infection control methods. Despite the global efforts, it has been challenging to control the spread of the virus. In this article, Yeon and Shin aim to develop a reality-based education and pinpoint its impact on nurses' knowledge regarding contamination after personal protective equipment (PPE) donning. The investigators employ a randomized control group pretest-posttest design approach, with a sample of 56 nurses. The results demonstrated that the experimental group recorded a significantly lower mean contaminated site area. The study concluded that reality-based education on PPE donning is critical in minimizing contamination and controlling infection control.

In this research article, the authors investigate the knowledge and attitude of nurses regarding the donning and doffing of PPE among the frontline workers dealing with COVID19 in Nepal. The investigators undertake a cross-sectional study among 205 frontline workers. The researchers administered a questionnaire where nurses filled in information about their knowledge and attitude concerning the proper donning and doffing of PPE when dealing with COVID19 patients. The results demonstrated that 79.5% of the participants had sufficient knowledge about the practice. While the study indicated that the nurses had overall knowledge of the matters, it indicated shortcomings, especially donning and doffing.
