The spread of COVID19 and the subsequent global pandemic has necessitated the need to consider better infection control methods. Despite the global efforts, it has been challenging to control the spread of the virus. In this article, Yeon and Shin aim to develop a reality-based education and pinpoint its impact on nurses' knowledge regarding contamination after personal protective equipment (PPE) donning. The investigators employ a randomized control group pretest-posttest design approach, with a sample of 56 nurses. The results demonstrated that the experimental group recorded a significantly lower mean contaminated site area. The study concluded that reality-based education on PPE donning is critical in minimizing contamination and controlling infection control.
