Computer viruses are never naturally occurring; instead, they are usually brought on by other individuals. Once they have been developed and unleashed, they are no longer technically under the authority of their makers. They refer to a tiny, self-replicating software that may infiltrate your computer system via the network, through hardware or software. There are a variety of reasons why people build viruses, ranging from harmless pranks to malevolent damage (AllBusiness). As soon as it has gained access to your computer system, a virus attaches to some other software that when the host program is executed, the virus’s actions are also triggered. It can self-replicate, inject itself into other applications or files, and attack them as a result of this.
Viruses are transmitted when the programs or files to which they are associated are moved from one system to another via a network, file-sharing mechanisms, or contaminated e-mail contents that have been sent to a different machine. Computer viruses are easily distributed via the internet in recent times, especially when individuals visit malicious sites or download free pirated software (Semple). Nonetheless, you are no more prone to get malware through the internet than you are to acquire one from packaged software, even though the internet has a terrible reputation as a popular generator of viruses.
