In psychology, the mind is considered the seat of the faculty responsible for thoughts, feelings, reason, perception, and memory. The brain, on the other hand, is an organ where cognition, mental processes, and other bodily functions are controlled. Most often these two concepts are used interchangeably to mean the same thing which is not the case.
Is there a mind? The mind is a mental state that reflects the working of the neural, chemical, and hormonal systems. There are two concepts of the mind; the phenomenal and the psychological concept.
