Significance of Research Problem:
The business environment in the 21st century faces dynamic challenges more than ever before. Modern leaders have to address challenges not only in the business environment but also in society at large. One of the major challenges facing business today is the rapid changes in technology. As technology changes quickly, key areas of business operations such as production, distribution, employee recruitment, and advertising are impacted significantly. Apart from technological changes, leaders have to address challenges such as climate change, workplace diversity, sustainability, and inequality. Given the myriad of challenges present in the modern business environment, it is essential to develop a leadership style that can address them. Understanding the elements of leadership befit such challenges is thus a necessary undertaking.
