ACTIVITIES OF LENOX TECH INC Lexon technologies is one of the first movers who dealt with recycling of the cartridges and toners for fax machines, laser printers and also multifunction copiers. The organization specializes in toners which are difficult to find and special niche cartridges. The Company is located on a 35,000 square foot factory which accommodates 67 employees. The company is able to manufacture fifty thousand (50,000) cartridges per month. The company’s major clients are multinational organizations such as Royal imaging, Staples, Micro center and the Royal Typewriter. Lenox Technologies also operates an online website to enable the sale of its toner products and it supplies a variety of numerous independent websites (Indanan, 2010) A current Project/Investment that requires investment: Investment in infrastructure and Increase of marketing –The Company has identified aspects of its operations which need to be urgently upgraded in order to improve sales and productivity. The improvements will include factory automation and identification of cost effective suppliers. The Company has achieved growth in profitability and revenues with minimized expenditures through marketing of the products. The marketing effort is currently comprised of word of mouth and the employees’ cold-calling hard work. The Company needs to expand its client base by recruiting more seasoned marketing staff and online advertising through the use of the internet.
