Research Paper Instructions:

This is the heart of your research paper -- a description of your topic with relevant historical or cultural context, based on Library research sources. This section should present a synthesis of information from your research as well an understanding of how this information and/or debates you've uncovered about your topic in your research pertain to your research focus. This section will require you to summarize objectively (i.e. without your opinion or judgements) the material and analyses presented by scholars – what they say as well as your own synthesis (i.e. how you tie this information together like you did in your grid last week) of what you’ve discovered. Because this section is to be based almost exclusively on your research, the emphasis will be on correctly, accurately and precisely quoting (without overdoing it), paraphrasing (often preferred to quoting), summarizing, and integrating the information you find. (Requirements:5 sources minimum). Note: You need to provide a references page that is properly formatted by the most current APA standards. The link below will show you example papers. Scroll to the ends of them to see properly formatted references pages that have been annotated to show you best practice.

Corona Virus Vaccine
An increase in the number of Coronavirus infections every day globally necessitates the development of an effective and able vaccine to eliminate the virus. In response to the health sector crisis, researchers are in the limelight to search for a vaccine that will stop the Coronavirus. Nations worldwide are doing their best to eliminate the pandemic that has taken the world by storm. On the other hand, the World Health Organization (WHO) is at the frontline with measures being put in place to ensure the pandemic has been defeated. Therefore, it is worth noting that research on the Coronavirus is at its peak, as the article investigates.
Research for the Coronavirus causing organisms are on the increase, more so targeting the older generation. The older generation is put at risk because it is prone to other ailments that come with age, like blood pressure and diabetes (Khamsi, 2020). Moreover, some people are at the most significant risk of developing Coronavirus due to acute respiratory syndrome-2 (SARS-CoV-2).
The World Health Organization (WHO) says that older people and those who have preexisting ailments are the most vulnerable to COVID-19. Ofer Levy, a Harvard Medical School professor, says that older people have a different immune system than healthy adults in their middle years (Paguio et al., 2020). Levy adds that because of the older adults' weak immune system, they cannot respond to immunization. Therefore there cannot be a single vaccine that would fit every individual.
Coronavirus spike protein is the antigen that is used in the development of a vaccine. The name has been derived because of the protein's tendency sitting on top of the coronavirus particle. It is therefore said that the on the top part is what the immune system can recognize. Moreover, vaccine antibodies that have been induced and made by the immune system against the protein can avoid the infection (Khamsi, 2020). Researchers' strategy is to bring together the coronavirus protein together with adjuvants; in other words, it can be said to be minute molecules added to a vaccine to help boost the immune response of a recipient.
Levy says they are prayerful that going the way of adjuvant would help search for an efficient vaccine worldwide. Levy continues to say that Adjuvants are essential in acquiring a longer-lasting, healthier, and broader immune response (Dawson et al., 2020). Such a vaccine would work well on patients who have weak immunity, such as the elderly. Levy says that his team uses an unusual approach because of the adjuvants that will be screened.
Additionally, the team led by Levy says that it will test new adjuvants that have been discovered, not forgetting the existing vaccine adjuvants (Paguio et al., 2020). According to some researchers working towards realizing the Coronavirus vaccine, it was discovered that adjuvants were found after screening against humans' cells. Precision vaccinology is the mechanism that has been applied in reading through the species.
More research is to be done on testing various adjuvants and different adjuvants combinations within the white blood cells that have been sourced from older people. Researchers will get ...
