The students have all completed a learning style inventory in which three of the students are determined visual learners, four are kinesthetic learners, and the rest are auditory learners. Note: The intended audience for the course can be either newly graduated nurses or experienced staff nurses as you choose.
Compose a 500-750-word paper which describes your plan to accommodate the learning styles of each student. This plan starts with defining course objectives; use the "A-B-C-D Method of Writing Objectives" resource as a guide. The objectives should incorporate Bloom's taxonomy, be written at the appropriate level for the audience, and include at least two learning domains (cognitive, psychomotor, and affective). Make sure to include the following:
An outline of the course content and agenda that will be covered.
Descriptions of the learning activities and the rationale for the learning activities selected
Strategies to assess learning, based on the learner objectives
Use at least three scholarly, peer-reviewed resources less than 5 years old in addition to the course materials.

Nurses hold significant roles, and they should be nurtured well to become effective leaders of tomorrow in the healthcare sector. They should be allowed to return to school and study leadership courses. As educators, it is crucial to consider different learning styles since some students are kinesthetic, auditory, or visual learners. For auditory learners, it would be most appropriate to use strategies that involve oral speaking. When it comes to kinesthetic, using role-playing or simulation can be the best teaching method. For visual learners, images, videos, mind maps, and colors are the most appropriate. Therefore, using kinesthetic, auditory, and visual learning styles give students an opportunity to comprehend the concepts taught in the classroom, hence applying them in real-life scenarios.
An Outline for a 4-Hour Leadership Strategies Course on the Effectiveness of Transformational Leadership in Nursing
The primary agenda for this course is to educate experienced nurses on how they can incorporate transformational leadership strategies in their workplaces. In particular, the course defines transformational leadership and how it can be applied in nursing. Learners will understand how one can be a transformative leader so that they can be the best in their field of work. For example, a transformative nurse leader motivates caregivers to perform their duties and inspires them to achieve significant things that push them up in their career ladder. The class is for ten students with different learning styles, namely auditory, kinesthetic, and visual.
Visual Learners
The primary objective will be to help students to understand the significance of transformational leadership in nursing. The materials needed for these learners are visual media, color, videos, and pictures. Visual learners are good in cognitive and affective skills. When teaching these students, one should use numerous words on a computer or interactive board. The words should appear in distinctive colors and the use of mind maps where applicable (Chicca & Chunta, 2020). One can use different color pens to draw mind maps or diagrams relevant to the explanation of the topic covered. System diagrams should be provided to show the link between various concepts. For example, an educator can use a picture of one transformative leader and draw a mind map showing his or her accomplishments. In the end, students should be able to define transformational leadership and portray at least one leader who has succeeded by using this strategy.
