Scott (776) argues that, documentation of others experiences is within the framework of history, but the status of evidence from these experiences has been ambiguous for historians of difference. As such, narratives have shown to offer more evidence concerning experience than the people who supposedly should provide the evidence. In addition, when such evidence of experience fails to come from personal accounts, then, there is further compromise in terms of facts due to possible bias.
In such cases, the historians of difference fail to examine assumptions, rather they presume that the identity whose history they document is true; hence, conclude that, difference exists in both a natural and historical way. This notion implies that, it is possible to generalize facts about particular people or identities, which to a greater degree is false. Certainly, the difference is a broad concept too, but people do undergo different experiences in life.
