In David Sedaris Narrative "Me Talk Pretty One Day”, he recalls about his experiences in France as a young student. He presents his dreadful experience about his teacher and classmates. According to the David, the teacher belittled them, and David could not understand why until a breakthrough occurred to him (Sedaris, 11). In his narrative, he used different narrative styles in appealing to pathos when he describes how all of them felt about the whole experience both in the classroom and outside classroom when trying to learn French.
