The uprising witnessed in China against the Nepalese government since 1996 present Maoist approach to revolution. The insurgents who fought Nepalese government used the social revolutionary approach. The Red guards of Perking, a militant group comprised of university and high school students, protested against the oppressive regime instead of engaging in guerilla, war (Moak & Lee, 2015).
The group used all social processes like holding street meetings, putting up posters, distributing leaflets to attack the old ideas of exploiting classes.
