From the reading, it is clear how the author emphasizes the importance of separation of powers as defined in the constitution. According to the author, power concentrated in the hands of one group or person is extremely dangerous, and in most cases, leads to suppression or curtailing of powers of others. The separation of power in a democratic system helps to prevent the possibility of abuse of power and ensure the liberty of all.
