The dietary practice is one of the disciplines gaining immense attention and interest in the current world. Mediterranean nutrition diet is such area of nutritional plans in nutritional and dietetics that have generated tremendous enthusiasm and debates. Mediterranean diet encompasses healthy dietary habits and practices, especially amongst people living along and near the Mediterranean Sea. Thus, countries such as Italy, Spain, amongst others, which practice more Mediterranean dietary plans, are often considered healthier. Mediterranean nutrition diet often incorporates a wide range of foods such as fruits, fish, grains, beans, nuts, vegetables, and legumes.
