A fallacy often occurs during conversations. On many occasions, fallacies tend to be irrelevant or illegitimate statements that can be deducted since they lack evidence (Manninen, 261). In short, fallacies are thus reasoning errors that render arguments invalid.

In videos 1 and 2, the equivocation fallacy is exhibited where different events are compared as though they are of similar intensity. For instance, the passenger in video 1 is asked to calm down because the country is undergoing a difficult moment, yet he asked for help. Similarly, in video 2, retired president Trump equates sexual satisfaction to leadership satisfaction, when the two statements stand on conflicting positions.
