There are basically explanations in the attachment, and then just do part A. This homework is similar to how to save a hotel, and then the sources need to contain some simple math. This is the first time I have used it. After I heard it, I can contact you if I am unclear and just ask me. This time, I have to go out temporarily, and it is too late to write. thanks

Dear Sir/Madam,
RE: Sustainable Hotel Operations
In order to enhance sustainability in the hotel operations, I have undertaken a review of the operational efficiency of the hotel. The recommendations outlined are intended to minimize waste and enhance efficiency. It will also reduce costs and guarantee sustainability of all hotel activities.
Water
Water scarcity is a global challenge that mandates sustainable water management in hotels. As businesses strive to operate in a sustainable way, implementing measures to reduce wasting water is vital. In the hotel industry, there are diverse measures that can be implemented to achieve this aim.
In order to reduce water usage, there are structural changes that can be implemented. First, the shower flow should be less than 8 liters per minute. This will ensure minimal wastage of water (Karssing). Another structural change is installing toilets with low flow capacity. Optimizing the drainage system to eliminate excess water pressure is vital to reducing water usage. Other structural elements include the installation of restrictors to reduce tap flow (Water Supplies Department 5). These are essential aspects that will guarantee low water flow within the premises.
Numerous water-saving programs can be implemented within the hotel. First, there is a need to undertake a water audit that identifies areas where wastage is seen and what measures can be placed. Moreover, sub-metering can be made to track the water usage for each guest. In order to have holistic approaches to water-saving, there is a need for departmental measures for water saving across the organization. This will ensure that all workers are aware of the incentives applicable within their offices (Styles, Schönberger, and Martos 212). Another aspect of the program is lobbying for workers' input, which can build a cohesive and holistic approach to sustainable water use. Awareness programs should also be initiated to ensure that guests understand the water-saving measures implemented within the organization.
If the recommendations are implemented, the hotel will save about 21 gallons of water per day for each room. Therefore, the total gallons saved per year will be 2,483,460 gallons. This significant amount will guarantee sustainable water use across the hotel. Moreover, the gallons saved also have implications on the financial aspect of the hotel management. The hotel will save about $15,471.96 each year when these gallons are saved.
In order to implement the changes, there is a need to invest in the structural changes within the hotel. The budget breakdown will be as shown below.
Item

Cost

Show Flow Regulation

$ 1,350.00

Low-flow Toilets

$ 6,300.00

Tap Flow Restrictors

$ 2,250.00

Structural Change Labor

$ 2,000.00

Water-Saving Programs & Awareness

$ 3,000.00

Grand Total

$ 14,900.00

As the budget breakdown shows, the cost of implementing the changes will be $14,900, which will be lower than the projected savings each year. Since the structural changes will be implemented once, the hotel will be able to achieve sustainable...
