Question 1.
The communication process involves the steps that information goes through the transmission. The process starts with the sender generating an idea and then communicates it to the receiver through a channel. The receiver interprets the message and gives feedback. Communication can be one way or two way. One-way communication involves the sender-sending message without the expectation of feedback. This form of communication is advantageous since it is quick, cheap, and straightforward. However, it has some demerits, such as no opportunity for clarification in case of misunderstanding, which results in inaccuracies and frustration. Hence, the managers have to try their best to balance the two powers to achieve the best. Moreover, they can use these powers to determine which worker responds effectively to a specific skill. This can help them in deciding on the type of energy they can exert to a particular worker to gain the best from them.
On the other hand, legitimate power can be described as the power derived from the formal position that a person holds in an organi...
