Based on what I have learned in the book, “The Conjure Woman’s Garden” is a sect that brings women together to fight for justice and equality for black females. On the contrary, the Bahai faith is an ecclesia that emphasizes one humanity. Indeed, it was founded in 1884. The Bahai faith uses nine as the symbol of completeness and unity (CBS This Morning). Individuals from different cultures, ethnicities, races, and skin color are welcome to join the Bahai faith.
“The Conjure Woman’s Garden” might develop into a larger feminist group that brings scholars and academicians together to fight for the rights of black women (Hutchins Center). The Bahai faith could develop into a denomination. Although it is the second most geographically dispersed religion after Christianity, it does not have many followers worldwide (CBS This Morning).
